Squat and Deadlift School

Squat and Deadlift School is a FREE ebook sharing the proven system I use to help my clients dominate their squats and deadlifts. With my step-by-step progressions, videos, and cues, you can learn to squat and deadlift with less pain and more confidence.

How do you pick which exercises you perform when you come to the gym?

If you’re like most people, you may cobble together workouts using things you did in the past, new stuff you’ve picked up from social media and observations of other gym-goers. The resulting workout may not be a good fit for your body, skill levels or goals.

You may never feel like you really know what you’re doing and your progress is probably lackluster at best. Workouts may leave you feeling beat up and excessively sore. In the worst case scenario, you can seriously hurt yourself at the gym.

Over the last few years, I’ve come to realize that selecting appropriate exercise variations is one of the most important elements of an effective training program.

The wrong exercise can cause pain, make you feel awkward and uncoordinated and won’t help you achieve your goals.

On the other hand, the right exercise feels good, isn’t unnecessarily complicated and will allow you to train with the weights and intensity necessary to keep moving forward.

This is especially important when training complex exercises like squats and deadlifts. Some of the most popular variations are not a good fit for the majority of gym-goers. Too much heavy back squatting or barbell deadlifting with poor form is a one-way ticket to frustration, pain, and injuries. Fortunately, you can keep yourself on the right track by choosing different exercises.

If you want to stay healthy (ie, not get hurt), feel more confident in the gym, and see more consistent progress toward your goals, you have to experiment and find the exercises that work for you. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to navigate through this process  if you’re not working with a qualified in-person trainer.

That’s why I felt compelled to create Squat and Deadlift School. I know there is a lot of conflicting information out there about what you should and shouldn’t be doing in the gym. To cut through all the noise, I’ve created a simple guide based on proven principles to help you feel more confident with your form so you can get stronger and avoid aches, pains, and injuries.

Why Should You Listen to Me?

These days, anyone who likes to work out or has a nice body can call themselves an “online coach.” Unfortunately, the vast majority of these people have little to no experience coaching others. They only know what works for them and lack the experience to change directions if the same approach doesn’t work for you.

Unlike these coaches, I have over six years and thousands of hours of in-person coaching experience. I’ve worked with hundreds of different clients and have taken the time to develop and refine my coaching systems. I am also educated and certified through nationally recognized and accredited organizations. I know these progressions and cues work because they are backed up through science and I’ve actually tested them with people just like you.

I’m passionate about helping my clients get stronger and move better so they can live their best lives. I’ve seen first-hand how lifting weights can dramatically improve someone’s quality of life. Whether the goal is weight loss, building strength, recovering from pain and injuries, or just having the energy to do the things you love, a smart strength training routine can help you get there. No matter where you’re starting from, you can use the systems in Squat and Deadlift School to stay healthy, train smarter, and get better results.
